About Our 208V Commercial BESS Systems

208V 3-phase BESS solutions are designed for small to mid-sized commercial facilities, retail locations, and light industrial sites. These systems function as an integrated UPS with optional solar PV coupling, providing reliable backup power and a foundation for microgrid deployments. Configurations range from 20 kWh to over 480 kWh using Sol-Ark 30K inverters paired with Sol-Ark L3-HV/HVR battery cabinets or Deka Duration DD-5300 modular clusters.

For projects in California, Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards now require both solar PV and battery storage on most new commercial construction and high-rise multifamily buildings. These 208V BESS packages are sized and certified to meet those requirements.

Do you have a battery system that meets the California Title 24 minimum storage requirement?

Yes. The Deka Duration DD-5300 starts at 21.2 kWh (4 modules), which satisfies the Title 24 minimum for new commercial construction. All systems on this page are CEC JA12 listed and UL 9540A tested for commercial deployment.

Do you offer outdoor-rated battery storage systems?

Yes. We carry the Sol-Ark L3-HVR (IP55 rated), the Deka DD-5300 in an IP66/NEMA 4 enclosure, and the Deye GE-FH60 (IP55 rated). All three are designed for outdoor installation without additional weatherproofing.

What is the difference between your 208V and 480V systems?

208V systems use the Sol-Ark 30K-3P-N inverter and are typically used in smaller commercial buildings, retail, and light industrial. 480V systems use the Sol-Ark 60K-3P-N inverter and are designed for larger facilities, industrial applications, and utility interconnections where 480V service is standard. Can I order just the inverters without battery storage?

Yes. You can configure and quote Sol-Ark commercial inverters independently using the inverter quote option on our pricing tool. We stock both the 30K (208V) and 60K (480V) models.

What is included in the quoted price?

Pricing includes the inverter(s) and battery storage hardware as configured. Sales tax and freight are excluded. Freight is quoted per project once a delivery address is provided. Installation, permitting, and electrical balance-of-system are not included.

How scalable are these systems?

Sol-Ark L3 rack systems scale from 40 kWh to 360 kWh (1 to 6 racks). Deka DD-5300 modular systems scale from 21.2 kWh to 84.8 kWh (4 to 16 modules).
