The ProStar solar charge controller has been the industry's leading mid-range pulse width modulation (PWM) controller since 1995, with over 350,000 units installed in the harshest environments across 100+ countries. This third-generation ProStar 15 maintains the same trusted form factor and reliability while adding enhanced capabilities for today's demanding off-grid applications.
Available in standard (PS-30) and metered (PS-30M) versions, the Generation 3 ProStar supports multiple battery chemistries including Lead-Acid, Lithium, and NiCd. It features comprehensive protection systems, data logging capabilities, and operates at full 15A capacity up to 60°C. With hazardous location certifications, custom programming options, and a 5-year warranty, the ProStar continues to set the standard in solar charge controller performance and dependability.

All of Morningstar’s ProStar charge controllers are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of FIVE (5) years from the date of shipment to the original end user. Morningstar will, at its option, repair or replace any such defective products.
