Enphase IQ8a-72-2-US Microinverter for 72-Cell Solar Panels
Enphase's newest series of IQ8a Microinverters are the industry’s first grid-forming microinverters with split-phase power conversion which efficiantly converts DC power to AC power.
The chip in the latest Enphase IQ8a-72-2-US is built using advanced 55nm technology, includes high-speed digital logic functionality and boasts quick response times to grid events and changing loads.
Part of the Enphase Energy System, IQ8a Microinverters integrate with the Enphase IQ Battery, Enphase IQ Gateway, and the Enphase App monitoring and analysis software.
The new IQ8a Microinverters extend the reliability standards set forth by previous generations and has over a million hours of power-on testing. This thorough testing of proven solid-state technology enables Enphase to have the confidence to provide an industry-leading warranty of up to 25 years.

Microgrid-forming Technology
Enphase IQ8A micros comply with fixed power factor, voltage and frequency ride-through requirements. All IQ8A micro inverters meet current and known future requirements for distributed solar on utility networks, including Rule 21 in California and Hawaiian Electric Company Rule 14H.
Rapid shutdown ready
The IQ family, like all previous Enphase microinverters, is fully compliant with NEC 2014, 2017, and 2020 rapid shutdown requirements. Unlike string inverters, this capability is built-in, with no additional equipment necessary.
