Powerwall 3 combines 13.5 kWh of usable energy storage with an integrated inverter capable of 11.5 kW continuous

Powerwall 3 Expansion is a battery-only module that increases storage by 13.5 kWh for existing Powerwall 3
systems. Because it shares the primary Powerwall 3 inverter, Expansion units deliver a lower cost-per-kWh way
to extend backup duration and store more solar. Add up to three Expansion units per Powerwall 3 to scale system
capacity for larger homes, longer outages, or higher overnight usage.
Battery-only design avoids paying for extra inverter hardware you don’t need.
