MagnaSine pure sinewave inverter/chargers for 12, 24, 48 Volt DC, 120 & 240 Volt AC
Designed for general 12 Volt DC, 24 Volt DC or 48 Volt DC to AC conversion, Magnum inverters have models with 120 volt AC and/or 240 volt AC output. Every Magnum inverter also has a battery charger for charging batteries from any 120V AC source such as a generator, AC utility power or 120V AC shore power hookup.
Magnum inverters are perfect for on-grid or off-grid solar system owners wishing to run a generator or other 120 volt AC (or 240 Volt with PAE Series) hookup for backup power. On-grid solar system owners can enjoy battery backup from charging batteries from the utility grid and automatic generator start with optional AGS control. An optional charge controller can be added to charge batteries with a solar array for extended power outages or stand-alone off-grid solar systems.
The pure sinewave output of a Magnum Energy inverter/charger is very clean and highly recommended for computer equipment, televisions, stereo amplifiers and sensitive radio equipment.

Efficient battery charger with PFC technology:
These inverter/chargers are are also designed for use with generators. Magnums include “Next Generation” battery chargers offering to reduce generator run time by up to 40% over competitive products. The result for off-grid system owners users: more quiet time and less fuel on those cloudy days.
Magnum’s innovation is a Power Factor Corrected Sinewave Charger that works equally well on low generator or shorepower voltages and uses significantly less AC amps at full output. For example, Magnum Chargers need only 15 amps of AC power to deliver 100 DC amps of charge current, compared to 23 amps with competitive products.
A solar panel array may be connected to this system with a charge controller or regulator. The Outback MPPT Charge Controller fits nicely on the MidNite Solar ePanel and is one recommendation.

Magnum inverter/charger options:
An automatic generator starter (ME-AGS) is available to switch on generator AC power automatically when battery DC voltage gets below a certain level (starter voltage, run time, time and/or start temperature can be set on starter). An optional remote control (ME-RC) allows full programming of inverter setpoints, and displays battery voltage and inverter output. You can skip the extra time, money and hassle buying these component parts and consider a complete Magnum inverter battery backup system.
